 CURRENT EXHIBIT

Artist's reception :  First Friday - November 6, 2009

                                       from 5pm to 8pm

Featured Artist:       Jeff White

This exhibit runs through November 28, 2009.

What do you get when you combine an 18th century tradition with today’s modern needs? One of Pennsylvania’s top reproduction redware potters! This age old tradition has been kept alive in Lebanon county and beyond by Jeff White.

Jeff White, founder of Hephaestus Pottery, began reproducing traditional colonial-style redware since the early 1970’s. What sets White’s redware apart from others? His redware is completely lead-free, totally functional, & microwave, oven, and dishwasher safe! In addition to the complete functionality of White’s redware, the decorative patterns depict actual historical works from the 18th century (1720-1840’s).

The overwhelming demand for his skilled artform draws the attention of collectors, historians, and art enthusiasts from across the country. This event happens but just once a year at the Gallery! Don’t miss out on your chance to meet Jeff White while you enjoy the electric atmosphere of the Gallery!  His work, while available, will be exhibited for the entire month of November.
